Plex

Plex is the main way to watch the shared library. It looks and feels like a commercial streaming app, but the catalogue comes from our server.

How you get access

  1. Open the invite link. The operator (Max) sends you a link to join.flixvoornix.nl. That link is handled by Wizarr, the invite tool.
  2. Sign in with your own Plex account. No account is created for you, and the operator never sees your password. If you don't have a Plex account yet, create one for free at plex.tv first.
  3. Accept the share. Wizarr walks you through linking your Plex account to the Flixvoornix library. Once done, the library is shared with you.

Where to watch

Once you're invited, the library is available everywhere you sign in with your Plex account:

  • On your TV — install the Plex app from your TV's app store.
  • On your phone or tablet — Plex app from the App Store or Google Play.
  • On the web — go to plex.flixvoornix.nl and sign in.

Sign in with the same Plex account you used during the invite.

Tips

  • The web player at plex.flixvoornix.nl is the quickest way to check your access works.
  • If a film looks blocky, let it buffer a few seconds or lower the quality in the player settings — the stream adapts to your connection.
  • Trouble accepting the invite? Message the operator.

Plex is de hoofdmanier om de gedeelde bibliotheek te kijken. Het ziet eruit en werkt als een commerciële streaming-app, maar de cataloog komt van onze eigen server.

Hoe je toegang krijgt

  1. Open de uitnodigingslink. De beheerder (Max) stuurt je een link naar join.flixvoornix.nl. Die link wordt afgehandeld door Wizarr, de uitnodigingstool.
  2. Log in met je eigen Plex-account. Er wordt geen account voor je aangemaakt en de beheerder ziet je wachtwoord nooit. Heb je nog geen Plex-account? Maak er dan eerst gratis een aan op plex.tv.
  3. Accepteer de deeluitnodiging. Wizarr begeleidt je om je Plex-account te koppelen aan de Flixvoornix-bibliotheek. Daarna is de bibliotheek met je gedeeld.

Waar je kunt kijken

Na je uitnodiging is de bibliotheek overal beschikbaar waar je met je Plex-account inlogt:

  • Op je tv — installeer de Plex-app uit de app-store van je tv.
  • Op je telefoon of tablet — Plex-app uit de App Store of Google Play.
  • Op het web — ga naar plex.flixvoornix.nl en log in.

Log in met hetzelfde Plex-account dat je bij de uitnodiging gebruikt.

Tips

  • De web-player op plex.flixvoornix.nl is de snelste manier om te controleren of je toegang werkt.
  • Als een film blokkerig oogt, laat hem dan even voorbufferen of verlaag de kwaliteit in de speler-instellingen — de stream past zich aan jouw verbinding aan.
  • Lukt het accepteren van de uitnodiging niet? Stuur de beheerder een berichtje.
